Disable Forms, Pages, and Goals Merged

Put Simply:
Many default features in Jira (like Forms, Pages, and Goals) are not necessary and should be disabled or hidden.

Why It Matters:

• Improves usability: Reduces noise in the Jira UI, helping teams focus on boards, issues, and workflows that align with firm standards.

• Prevents misalignment: Avoids the use of ad hoc tools (like Forms or Goals) that aren’t connected to our delivery templates, estimation models, or metrics.

What’s Needed:

• Jira project configuration updates:

  • Disable or hide Forms (Jira Service Management forms)

  • Remove or disable Pages (Atlassian Confluence pages embedded in projects)

  • Turn off Goals (Beta feature in some Jira project views)
