Ability to keep the workspace status and reporting in Concourse in sync with Jira when Jira is the PMO tool of choice

Currently there is an integration built between Concourse and Jira. However, the integration links Concourse with the Concourse issue types in Jira. The SAP practice has created a template that uses Jira standard issue types and Jira custom issue types. There is no connection between Concourse and the Jira issue types. We have discussed options for the Jira team to automate status updates pushed from Jira issue types to Concourse. None of the options assessed were viable or sustainable. In order to truly integrate the two tools, we would need to build some connection between Concourse issues and Jira issues.
