Concourse & Jira Cloud Portal
I am really struggling to identify the benefits to manage RAID in concourse.
Primary struggle is - clients do not use Concourse as their work area. Everyone uses JIRA. Hence it makes it redundant to have this feature in concourse to be used only by PwC
Secondly, The workflows are restrictive. Specifically on Risks...it is very important to understand where a risk was actioned vs not, and whether it was truly mitigated or just accepted with no action, or whether the risk transferred to become something else and the prior risk is no longer relevant. Lastly, in the recent release notes, it says we can link using different dependency types.. eg: relates to, has to be done before, etc. However, note that teams use the Structure in JIRA, and unless we use parent-child relationships... the RAID items dont show in the JIRA structure.
These constraints prevent PMs from using the RAID log in Concourse.
