Ability to order JIRA structure in the same order as Concourse

Projects often setup a structure in JIRA that mirrors the concourse plan. When the concourse plan syncs into JIRA it is in a randomn order. We have to manually order each task one at a time such that it mirrors the order in Concourse.

I spoke to the JIRA team on this - they state they can order this by fields that are available to them i.e. issue key, due date, etc. There is no field that the concourse team passes to JIRA that will allow them to sequence the structure.

This is a LOT of manual work for project teams specially when project plans are over a 1000 lines.. I have had to do this manually for all my prior engagements
