Consider federated authentication for internal and external users - GLOBAL

It would be an improved user experience if both internal and external user logins were federated.

For the internal user experience, although users are known to have to log into other PwC apps throughout the day, there is an incremental pain point when having to log into JIRA Cloud. If a user sends a direct link out to a page that a user has access to in JIRA - if the receiving user isn't already logged in, they may get an unfriendly error page like "Something went wrong".

For client users, since we are having them register with PwC for other applications anyway, they shouldn't have to create another username and password and separate MFA for logging into Atlassian.

This work could be considered when you move to Entra, maybe?
