Plan - Would be good if there can be more detailed steps tied to the local territory around project compliance
Define - listed activities generally applicable
Strategy and op model activities scope generally different from the activities that will be included in Oracle implementation. E.g. Portfolio analysis, pricing analysis, go-to-market strategy
Innovate
Release development
Generally we will do Level 4 process flow for Oracle ERP (with reference to P1 activities)
Would prefer more detailed selection of the modules, as there are many modules not in use, e.g. Workforce health, Journeys, etc
UAT kickoff not included under UAT activities currently
Perform defect remediation seems to be repeated, there a standalone task, as well as in the UAT / SIT tasks
Data migration rehearsals for P2, SIT, UAT is missing
Release
Production configuration and setup, and prod data migration seems to be missing here?
Thank you for your feedback. We have reviewed this and have the following reply:
Re: Align: Adding localized tasks for project compliance is not something we are able to do at this time. The content from Oracle is globally approved, and they will continue to maintain the content but not including regional variabilities due to the potential excessive maintenance. However, JIRA Cloud does allow customizations of the plans, so that is an option to use.
Re. Innovate: Oracle is looking to identify and introduce delivery loops at which point L1-L4 processes will be introduced. This should be available in the second half of this year.
For the items not included, that was a conscious choice to limit the footprint of the delivery plan in JIRA.
Re: Release: the general guideance is to only provide support when it comes to production systems, and for those reasons it was designed to not include those items in the structure.
