Estimation in Scoping | Staffing Plan

Put Simply: Users select from pre-configured team structures to allocate estimated effort across roles, teams, and time.

Acceptance Criteria:

• Users select a team structure (via dropdown) after driver input is complete

  • Available team structures are pre-configured by admins and tailored to each estimation model.

  • If multiple estimation models are present, users select a team structure for each model individually.

  • Users may not directly edit team structures; they must select from available options.

  • Upon team structure selection, the staffing plan table updates accordingly

• Each selected team structure defines the following in a staffing plan table:

  • Roles (e.g., QA, UX, etc.)

  • PwC Level (e.g., Senior Associate, Manager, Director)

  • Teams

  • Staff Type (Domestic vs. AC)

  • Total hours per resource

  • Weekly or monthly allocation breakdown

  • Users can toggle computation (e.g., weekly vs. monthly) and contribution mode (e.g., hours vs. utilization %).

• Visualizations (e.g., effort over time, role mix) help users understand the distribution and impact of their selections.
