Role-Level Roll On/Roll Off Timelines

Put Simply Statement:
Configure staggered start and stop dates for each role on a Team within an Estimation Model.

Why it Matters:
Models resource usage and general delivery timelines more accurately, improving planning and cost estimation.

i.e. If we know that Dev work begins at 10% into most projects we can generally summize when we will be delivering certain deliverables and plan accordingly to meet SOW requirements and better inform PMO teams how to align project timelines

What’s Needed:

• Team Structure UI supports individual start/end dates.

• Logic to calculate effort and cost based on dates.

• Gantt or timeline visualization.

• Early ACs:

  • Users can set custom roll on-roll off per role per Team

  • Effort/cost calculations respect these ro-ro timelines.

  • Timeline views reflect role allocations according to ro-ro percentages
