Flexible Staffing Structures Metadata

Put Simply Statement:
Allow configuration of Teams for each model at the role level and be able to include key staffing metadata (RSR, cost center, platform, equal spread staffing vs normal, potentially Product Code(?) etc)

Why it Matters:
Ensures estimates align with organizational cost structures and downstream systems (Flex, S/4), driving financial accuracy.

Allows for each Team within a practice to be accurately accounted for and adjusted over time or depending on the project

What’s Needed:

• Enhanced role configuration fields

  • Possibly including Product Code, PracticeTeam/ProfitCenter, and already existing functionality

• UI for managing and applying metadata.

• Ability to create N teams and N team structures per model

• Integration with HR and finance systems.

  • S/4 Hana, Workday and Team Builder have been discussed so far

• Early ACs:

  • Roles can have custom metadata assigned.

  • Metadata is used in cost and resource calculations.

  • Export includes all relevant metadata fields.
