(High) Kanban - Rearrange Cards within a Column

Currently, it seems that there's not a capability for rearranging cards within a certain status column in the Kanban board. It'd be helpful if we could do this, though, so we can rearrange based on priority / focus items. Is this a feature that could be added?

Hey, Kritin! I appreciate your thoughts. I agree that it could be helpful to be able to order by due date or a similar field.

Additionally, though, from the originally proposed idea, we do have use cases today where items will have the same due date / priority, but we'll be actively working on one or a couple in particular and have a preference on which one(s) get started next. It's helpful to be able to shift those active items higher up the chain and organize the not started cards based on which one we'd like the team to start next.

There are also scenarios where a due date may be later for an item, but that item with a later due date is a larger lift than an item with a sooner due date and needs to be started sooner. In that case, it's helpful to be able to move that card up the chain for higher prioritization within the team.

Hope you all have a great weekend!

Thanks for your feedback Kritin. Happy to learn more your thoughts on improving Kanban. Do you mind if I invite you to an upcoming user testing and review of new features?

Opinion - rearranging can lead to other complications, keeping track. It may be easier to list in the order of date due or the order in which it was added to the column, and with the ability to filter based on tags, it should still allow to focus on specific areas.
